Moulding allows for a replica of virtually any object to be made. Whether it is still at wax stage or a cast previously done, a mould can be made from it.
We use three different types of mouldings:
The use of any one of these moulds is determined by the object which has to be moulded and the numbers to be produced. A variety of materials can be used for each type of mould including: poly con, poly ad and polyurethane. The material that is chosen for a mould is dependent on the shape and size of an object as well as the possibility of shrinkage.
As well as hand pouring rubber into our moulds we also have the facilities to inject RTV silicon into a mould by a twin flow injection machine.
